To Yuxing-Unnie… And to all the People Who Have Been Reading this Blog.

Haha. I have just told you one thing I have always wanted to say. And I’m telling you again that whenever you give your insights about my articles, whether it is in agreement or in contrast of what I said, I am delighted. I’m seriously delighted.
Because through you, I am convinced that there is someone who pays attention to the attention-seeking, trying hard writer that I am. Because of you, I started believing that I have thoughts worth sharing and though not technically, I am worth listening to. Because of you, I knew more things I’m good at.
Whenever I get lonely and I need someone to tell me that everything’s gonna be okay, you’re always there. Though we’re literally oceans apart and I don’t think we’ll be meeting each other in person anytime soon, nothing compares to the friendship we have. Through thick and thin, I know you’re there.
And with that, I just want you to know that I’m sticking with you. I have always wanted to say this to you again but I guess, my busy schedule and my shyness always gets in the way. This may sound so funny as how it did before but I just want to remind you that people come and go out of my life like a fast-paced story. Most people I love chose to leave me hanging and it hurt me. I am that unfortunate and I don’t know what I did in my past life to deserve such hate. But I am proud to say that I am unfortunate with romance but when it comes to friends, and I mean REAL FRIENDS, I know I’m the luckiest bitch in the world.
If not, I wouldn’t have known you.
Of course, there are lots of other people who play the same role as yours in my life. But you know what? I don’t look at people similarly. I find the differences and you are one of those who stand out.
Maybe it’s because you are my first foreign friend. Maybe it’s because I find it amazing how we both can understand each other’s personality even though we haven’t met yet. Maybe it’s because I see myself in you – only, a Singaporean version.
Yes, that’s how it is. I see myself in you and I am sure that I have told you this already. It’s not a compliment, I know. I wouldn’t even blame you if you find it insulting. But that truth remains. You are my other person and I am just so glad that you’re there.
I remember, it’s that article about miracles which drew you to my blog. If I remember it correctly, I said there that if a person encounters a miracle and it does not suit his taste and definition of the word, it is eternally rejected. Now, I’m telling you that I am thankful to God that I knew that fact beforehand. If I didn’t, I bet I’ll be living a life without you on it.
Thank you for being a miracle to me, Unnie. Thank you.
***************************************************
And to people who have subscribed to this blog, not just because of that crappy SS3 Manila FAQs, but because they find my articles worth the read, I KNOW I CAN NEVER THANK YOU ENOUGH. I believe in miracles and I am just so lucky to have you all around.
Big group hug?

Happy One Year, The Angels’ Haven

Many don’t know, and many might not careBut tomorrow, I celebrate one year of my blog, The Angels’ Haven.
Many might think and say now that I’m too exaggerated that I have to put up this blog just so I can support Super Junior. Many might actually believe that I am just trying to gain attention with the words I say and the issues I discuss.
I know I’m going way overboard sometimes because I put all my emotions on the articles I write. Sometimes, it goes random that even I, myself, cannot understand what I’m trying to say.
But I do it for the love of Super Junior.
I have been hearing a lot of positive feedbacks about my writings and you just don’t know how grateful I am to each and everyone of you. It feels great to have people agree with what I say and what I believe in. And sometimes, it feels way, way better to know that I am influencing people with what I write.
And that is one thing I will forever be thankful for.
When I started The Angels’ Haven, I never thought that it would be this serious. I thought I just started it for fun and for relaxation. I thought it would just be a venue to vent all my Super Junior-related emotions.
But as I look back at the past year, I realized that this blog has become more than it’s supposed to be. It has been my life, it has been my outlet, it has been my escape. Anybody interested can know me fully through this blog.
I am just so thankful that I can’t contain it anymore. Next to Super Junior, my readers are my inspirations on why I write these things. If not for your constant visits, I could’ve been a failure for the past year.
I know I’m going random again. But before I do, let me spill you another secret:
I’m officially a year old in this Sapphire Blue world. (Saengil Chukhahae? ^^~)
Yeah, I have fallen in love with Super Junior since I saw Kyuhyun sing. But the truth is, only last year did I indulge myself on this fandom. Only last year did I consider myself an ELF.
Okay, so most of you might ask how dare am I to consider myself an ELF when I only started on 2009?
Look, I’m asking myself too.
But I find no answers.
Maybe, this is how it really is. After all, it is not how long you’ve been a fan that measures how much you really love Super Junior…

IT’S HOW LONG YOU’LL KEEP THE

PROM15E TO 13ELIEVE. :)

Thank you very much for all the support you’ve given The Angels’ Haven. Thank you for all those who never gets tired of reading my articles and agreeing with my views. Thank you to those who leave comments for me to read and smile at. Thank you for spreading the word. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for loving Super Junior.
I have no idea how to repay you for all the joy you’ve given, but I will make sure that we will meet each other, in due time, in the real angels’ haven. :)

I Love You, In Ways You Never Think Of.

WARNING: THE FOLLOWING ARTICLE IS RANDOM BECAUSE THE AUTHOR COULDN’T GET OVER THE OVERWHELMING SURPRISE SHE’S JUST RECEIVED.

Let me tell you two trivia:
First, I am a pessimist. Paranoia is my constant companion and it’s not leaving me. When I started The Angels’ Haven, I thought nobody would read whatever I’ll write. You see, I’m a writer yet I don’t believe people will appreciate my works. Randomness is my game and I know that instead of clearing things up, my words would just confuse people.
Yet, I want to be heard. This is the second trivia. I have the passion for writing, but I have the greater obsession to expressing my opinions. Yes, it might be a little selfish and self-centered but I became a writer because I want to change lives.
And through this blog, I am confident to say that I’ve practiced both.
Okay. I’m not bragging, or anything. Uh, I am merely finding the right and best words to express the overwhelming gratitude that I’m feeling right now.
Just today, I came across a cute, Japanese blog. I saw my name on several articles and I was so surprised to realize that she’s been telling the world that I have changed some of her beliefs, when it comes to Super Junior.
Ugggggh. Am I saying things right?
Xingible, it is a great pleasure to know that my articles change lives of so many people. I must admit, and with all humility, you are not the first person to have said those things. But just the same, I am more than thankful to God for giving me the chance to meet people like you.
You wrote in one your entries that I am the first person you fell in love with, without knowing me first. That moved me. Through those words, I was reminded that no matter what I do, and no matter how foolish and random I am, there are and there will always be people who will appreciate me.
And I don’t need to know them, personally.
Maybe that’s the lesson God has been wanting to teach me all along – that in this life, people have to trust on the unseen. Everything’s connected. There will always be this one, thin rope that binds our hearts together.
Also, I want to take this opportunity to take my other readers, who later become my friends… SarahRegeneDanicaMay, Pia, Clyde, Khenn, Irin, Monica, fracorshe, uhrella, immortalsoul123, and all other readers who constantly drop by this site to read and appreciate.
I may not be able to thank you all personally but I’m sure one day, we’ll meet. ^^
I love you, in ways you never think of.
