Because I’m This Nosy.

Frankly speaking, I don’t care about what others would say about the success of SS3 Manila but my nosiness wouldn’t let it just pass. :) All ELF wants their countries to be recognized and Philippine ELF is not an exception. We have our goal that’s why we did that: TO MAKE SUPER JUNIOR FEEL LOVED AND ACCEPTED.
You see, we only have one night to spend with them. We couldn’t afford two- or three-day concerts. That is why we went all out and put everything on the line for these boys.
And as the whole world knows, we succeeded.
Heenim tweeted that he really fxxkin love us. Rare, right? Henry tweeted as well after a long time just to tell us that he enjoyed the concert. (His first and last tweet are for us, anyway.) Jungsoo, Wookie and Yesung did as well. The others, they kept on saying they love us during the concert.
Honestly, I have thought of this happening. But I think it’s unfair to hate us just because Super Junior LOVES us. ^^~
If ever that issue is true and it really came from a foreign ELF, let me give you hints on why the one-night concert turned out to be one of the biggest and most successful stops of Super Show 3:
  1. Nine months. We spent nine long months preparing for the concert. While the organizers do their thing, the fans also used that time to introduce to NEW ELF who Super Junior really is and how a Super Show should be.
  2. The boys’ concerns was our top priority. That’s the secret why Heenim was pleased. If you try to observe things, there weren’t any competition during the concert. All the fan projects were in uniform because there’s one sole group who everybody trusted – SUJUMAD.
  3. We love them. And that love is NOT different from your love or the love of any other international ELF.
This isn’t a question of who’s the best and who’s the worst anymore. This has now become a question of what you can do to make the boys receive what they deserve.
Communication and love were the best weapon to make SS3 Manila successful. There are lots of means to get your projects known. There are still lots of time to prepare.
So instead of hating on us, concentrate on how you can make the boys happy. And please, put the thought of competition aside. If you do things because of jealousy and envy over our success, it will just make your plans falter. Do it for the boys, not to compete. :)

A Night of Miracles

“Miracles occur naturally as expressions of love. The real miracle is the love that inspires them. In this sense, everything that comes from love is a miracle.”
With that in mind, I can now say that I have become the miracle that I want to be and I have witnessed thousand other miracles unfold before me.
Indeed, nine months of waiting is definitely worth it.
When I decided to fully involve myself with all the rigid preparations for SS3, I was clueless on what is waiting for me. All I knew, and ever cared for, back then was I will do this to get over the regret I felt during SS2 and give Jungsoo the best experience he deserves before he go to the army. It never occurred even in my slightest imagination that I’ll have a bigger motivation to indulge – seriously – myself on this fandom.
Truth is, it is the desire to see all my fellow ELF be united before Super Junior which convinced me to go all out on this. It is the very reason why I compiled the questions, fan projects and fan chants. To me, nothing could make Super Junior happier than seeing thousand of fans, being as one – loving and cheering for them on that short three-hour encounter and beyond.
You see, my dream is that high. And as seen on the concert, it came true.
But I’m not taking the credits. There are lots of other people who deserves the gratitude and praises – people who showed me that it is love which emits all miracles in the world:
To PULP Live Productions, Ms. Rizza and Ms. Happee, your patience is beyond what people could ever imagined. It is so easy to call it quits but you guys pulled it off and stayed strong. I know it wasn’t easy. But your love for your craft got you through everything. Congratulations!
To SUJU MAD, the people responsible for the miraculous unity that Saturday, thank you for entrusting me all the plans. I know I get annoying at times, asking you about project details and stuff, but thank you. Special mention goes to Ate Yan, Ate Jowella, Desiree, Kars and Clarisse. You guys made me enjoy every bit of this activity. Also to Ate Andhie, Ate Mitzi and Ate Ems, though we weren’t technically part of SJMAD, thanks for being with me.
To Lei and Chena of TeukAngelsPH, you guys were surely of great help to the success of Leeteuk’s project. You weren’t there but we still have a lifetime to share anyway. We’ll meet in Seoul, Lei. Chena, let’s go meet soon. ^^~
To TeukVN, Teuk Baidu Bar and Spotlight, these elite fan bases for Jungsoo are our breathing ground. Thank you for the motivation you gave Ate Yan and for entrusting Jungsoo’s joy on her. :) I wish I could meet each one of you :)
To Lee, Jo, Danica, Pia and Mai, ELP will be forever. You know I love you, guys, so fxxing much. :) May pauso na naman asawa mo, Mai. :)
To XCREW, the wait would be difficult if you did not exist. You guys are my outlets. But other than that, you have become my miracles as well. I couldn’t write stuffs about you anymore but hell to anyone who would say I love you less. Thank you for being my SJ’s cover group. Kuya Jerry, get over it na. hehe. :)
To Uti and Astrud of TwELFs, YOU GUYS ROCK. I miss you already!!! We are new acquaintances but it feels like I have known you for forever. Guys, seriously, thank you very much. Thank you!!!
To all the ELF, local and international, who came to SS3 Manila, it is all of you which truly made the concert a success. Thank you for proving the whole world that Philippine ELF can make it. And also, for proving me that I’m still sane. Otherwise, there’ll be millions of crazy people around the world called ‘fan girls’.
And of course, to my personal miracles, my only loves, Super Junior…Nine months of waiting is nothing compared to the fun and contentment you have showed us all that night. Knowing that you guys enjoyed Manila, it eases everything away. It was a memory to keep, right? Thank you very much for spending it with us. I love you, and I’ll never get tired.
To God who made this possible, You know that we owe this to You. Now that it’s over, we humbly ask You to please continue blessing us and the boys. Please give us more time to be together, and a chance to prove again how much we love each other. Thank You, Lord. Thank You.
You see, it is my love and the love of all the people I have mentioned and failed to mentioned which comprised the success of SS3 Manila. If it wasn’t for it, there’ll be no miracles that night. We wouldn’t be this joyful, we wouldn’t be this proud.
Now that Super Show 4 is finally announced in South Korea, I can’t help but anticipate that Manila’s gonna be one of the stops again. Though there is no assurance from PULP yet, I really pray that another miracle will happen and I’ll get to see the boys again.
But for now, congratulations Philippine ELF! It is a job well done!

Just the Same… But A Lot Different.

It was all worth it.
The moment I stepped in to Araneta, I knew it was going to be different. Because this time, I knew I did my part. For nine long months, I waited and prepared together with people who share the same goal as mine: to give Super Junior the best of what they deserve from the Philippine ELF.
And I was right. It was really, entirely different from all others.
Sorry, Sorry was the first song. Again, it was the fish who I have set my eyes upon first. He was lifted from the circular LCD screen and he looked so perfect to me even from afar. Then the members appeared, standing and kneeling like life-sized mannequins. They were all glowing in white and I could hardly differentiate them from angels.
Then comes song after songs. Truth is, I compiled the fan projects and the fan chants but I was mentally blocked when I saw Super Junior. Indeed, one glimpse of these perfections can be fatal. Good thing I gathered back my thoughts and came back to myself – a fan girl.
But you know what? This time, I couldn’t scream loud. I couldn’t jump with them. I couldn’t even take pictures and fan cams even though my camera was on. It’s not that I was dumbfounded. It’s not that I haven’t fully recovered yet from the starstruck…
It’s just that I gave myself a chance to really feel what Super Show 3 Manila is all about.
I spent almost half of the concert sitting on my seat, crying, listening to the ballad songs and waving my lightsticks and project materials. During lively songs, I stand up and jump and scream but ended up being speechless whenever a member passes by my section. I was in the front-most row of the corner area, by the way.
But on the event that I cannot control the ubiquitous fan girl in me, I reach out for the boys’ hand, scream, jump, sing along and go gaga. Lucky me, I got to touch the angel’s hand and I tell you, my knees shook for like a minute or two afterwards. The angel has the softest skin I’ve ever touched. I even felt shameful because mine was rough. Nevertheless, I got to touch him.
And it felt like heaven.
The joy was further emphasized when I learned that the fans really put their hearts to the projects started by my friends in SUJU MAD. When I first saw the whole Araneta covered with No Other hearts, I started tearing up. I suddenly felt my heart flutter. You see, making people cooperate is as difficult as making Heechul happy. But Philippine ELF were united, and so the boys were obviously overjoyed.
We did it, guys. I can’t be any prouder.
And the fan chants? I didn’t hear it because the whole Araneta was too busy singing the whole song with the boys. I do not want to take the credits but I am hoping and praying that somewhere behind the success is the compilation I did. Because if it really helped, I knew I succeeded and all the annoyance and headaches are nothing. Same thing goes to the UYUBITKKAL KIM HEECHUL, SARANGHAEYO KIM HEECHUL and the URINEUN ELPEU-O-E-YO chants. I really couldn’t be any happier hearing it that night.
Indeed, this Super Show 3 Manila taught me a lot of things. Through it, I realized that miracles need time to reveal themselves. Patience is a real virtue which each one of us must learn. Because at the end of the day, even amidst the frustrations and disappointments, something worth it is waiting.
As the house lights of Araneta Coliseum went on, I saw Jungsoo’s gesture towards the grandmother who watched the concert. That’s when I realize once more that I am in the best fandom and I have the made the right decision in sticking with Super Junior and my fellow ELF for the rest of my life.
I stepped out of the concert venue and felt the very same feeling I did after Super Show 2, only a lot better because I know I did something this time. Everything has gone back to normal but after the concert, I knew that nothing will ever be the same again.
Thank you, Super Junior. Thank you very much.

Few More Hours…

Few more hours left.. It’s a few more hours left before Super Junior sets foot on this land. It’s few more hours before they breathe the same air I breathe, the same sight I see and the same place where I am…. AGAIN.
I thought I’m so prepared now. But the truth is, I think I’m not.
There are many things I have to do for this concert. But it seems like I don’t know where to start. I can’t even determine why I’m like this.
Excitement is overwhelming me.
Apparently, I won’t be able to sleep. :)
Super Junior… I can’t wait anymore.

I Need…

credits as taggedYou love the Philippines. This is the first country to make you and Henry really feel accepted. Manila is the place you held your first solo at. You treasure and cherish those Hello Kitty fans we waved before you.
And we’re both looking forward to seeing each other again.
Right?
But eleven days before the concert date, we knew you couldn’t make it.
Stupid visa problems. Now I can’t help myself but blame both our governments why they don’t have a bilateral agreement on immigration.
But then, I believe in miracles. in 10 days.
You do too, right?
