Loving Leeteuk More and More...

All photos credited as tagged.
I don’t deny my overwhelming admiration for Lee Teuk. To me, he is almost everything I’ve always wanted in a guy. He seems so perfect. And just when I thought I couldn’t love him more, Kang In’s situation had proven me wrong.
For at the moment, I am loving Park Jung Soo more and more.

Idols are NOT Gods

“Nobody’s perfect. So is there anyone who would want to be nobody?”
The assault issue made Kang In’s world compress. All of a sudden, critical eyes are MORE focused on him. Considering that he is an IDOL, I know that it cannot be stopped… However, I can’t stop myself too from asking ‘ISN’T IT WAY TOO OVERBOARD ALREADY?’
Here is my realization:
We consider idols as gods; as deities who can never be wrong and who are always perfect. We expect them to be in accordance to what we want them to be – for the reason that they owe their fame and fortune to us, fans. But have we ever asked ourselves: Is this how we love them?
Our idols… They have their own identity. They’re too far from perfection, as we all are. They have flaws behind those god-like appearances. They are still humans.
Kang In’s assault issue is yet to be cleared. Unless the investigation results are released, Kang In will always be the focus of those prying eyes. I am pretty certain that every move he makes is taken into account.  It is a total world-compression for him – something he should be used to since he’s a member of Super Junior, but something he can never say he’s happy with since it’s something negative.
I am not saying that I’m doubting Kang In. What I’m trying to imply with this is that Kang In needs time to be himself now, more than anytime. Whatever that CCTV cam shows, let it not dictate fate. If we love Kang In and Super Junior, we have to believe.
Please. I have one request:
Let us not restrict our idols from being themselves. We cannot expect them to always do the right thing. Allow them to commit mistakes. After all, life has a trial-and-error process. If they fail for the first time, let us not condemn. Instead, let us reach out a hand and help them stand up again – to be someone better for all of us.
Loving someone means accepting everything about that person. And I, personally, believe that it applies to fandom too. If we love our idols for what they can do, we must learn to love them for what they can’t be. In that way, we can be real fans. REAL LOVING FANS.
KANG IN FIGHTING!

Siwon's Indeed a Good Photographer

I have to say that Si Won is indeed a good photographer. This kind of angle is quite difficult to capture. ^^ Never knew about this passion of his. ^_^

A Promise to Super Junior

It was like a year ago when I accidentally clicked on a video of Charice Pempengco and Cho Kyu Hyun in YouTube. They were singing A Whole New World, and in the video are insets of news clips featuring an accident.
It was that horrifying car crash incident that put the lives of Lee Teuk oppa, Shin Dong-oppa, Eun Hyuk-oppa and Kyu Hyun-oppa in danger. It was the accident that almost took Kyu Hyun-oppa’s and Teukkie-oppa’s lives away.
I didn’t know these information when I watched the video. All I knew then was that it was Kyu Hyun’s comeback. And that I was touched.
It wasn’t everyday that I see men crying. It wasn’t everyday that I am touched seeing brothers caring for brothers. It wasn’t everyday that I get hooked with singers who sing songs I barely understand.
It wasn’t everyday that I get to see Super Junior that way.
And yeah, that’s what I thought. and that’s when I started loving them.
In my past entries, I have already discussed why I adore these guys. And by joining ELF Philippines, I have actually committed myself to supporting them as long as I can.
And that is my promise. Because it’s the lone thing I can do to give back all their efforts and love. :)

The Joy in Super Junior's Existence

I missed this – waking up with nothing in my mind yet involuntarily smiling. ^^
I don’t know how it happened, maybe it has something to do with me, dreaming i’m two weeks pregnant and realizing that it means something good in reality.
But as I turn my computer on, I realized that it’s more of that weird dream. It’s because of the fact that I am living the life I have always longed for. I browsed the net and saw myself being that someone I have always wanted myself to be.
I replied to a number of wall posts in Facebook. Most of them are from people I don’t know. They are Super Junior’s fans too – from Sweden, Indonesia and Taiwan.. I have been checking on ELF Philippines’ forum site regularly too. Yes, I’m taking Super Junior seriously.
Why? Simple. Because I am happy doing it.
Honestly, it is not just the boys of Super Junior that makes me happy. Yes,  I have this I-love-everything-about-them character, but alongside is the fact that there is a two way process between me and Super Junior.
I have learned a lot through Super Junior. I may seem like a little exaggerated but I won’t waste time writing this entry if it’s not true.
Super Junior had let me be that person I have always wanted to be. If it wasn’t for them, I could have still been so down after everything that happened. They were my instant relief. They were my instant refuge.
Everytime I hear their voices, everytime I see their videos of  playing pranks on each other, everytime I see them dancing; there is this joy I can’t explain.
I know you, guys, are having a hard time keeping up with this post. I feel like it’s going random. But I won’t be editing this. Promise. Because this post comes from within.
Super Junior is a part of my system. They’re included in my daily routine. And no matter how many people criticize me, I won’t care. Yeah, Super Junior have antis too. And I pity them. Because I know that they aren’t lucky enough to feel the joy in Super Junior’s existence.
