I Love You

I HAVE ALWAYS KNOWN THAT YOU’RE A HERO, TEUK.

And more than that, you’re an angel no longer in disguise.

I have just watched MTV The Exit Super Junior Special in Vietnam and from there, I realized that one thing my heart did right was to choose Park Jungsoo among all thirteen boys of Super Junior.

Aside from the performance in Vietnam, the show featured Teuk with Donghae visiting The Peace House, a center in Vietnam which helps victims of human trafficking; well, mostly rape victims.

The females’ faces were blurred for protection. But I know they’re happy. Because the leader and Hae went there for them.

What melted me more was when Teuk was saying goodbye, he asked where the girls are and hugged them before he leaves. Donghae did embrace them too. Lucky girls, I thought. But more than that, humble Teuk. It is not often that I get to see him hug girls.

But this time, it’s different.

That embrace. I know it’s more than just because he’s an idol and there is a camera and that’s one hell of an exposure for them. That embrace. It’s an act of saving grace.

He knew that his presence and that one short, simple hug can cause a lot to make the victims better. And that made all the differences.

He has always been like that. Source of comfort, source of strength. Reason to live. Reason to love. Reason to continue.

He has always been a hero. For he has always been an angel.

Nothing compares.
